# Prerequisites

## Minimum System Configuration

Please ensure that your system meets the following minimum and recommended specifications for optimal performance:

| CPU | 2 x 1.8 GHz 64-bit (x64) | 4 x 2.4 GHz 64-bit (x64) |
| RAM | 4 GB | 8 GB |
| Disk Space | 3.5 GB for installation, 5 GB for updates | N/A |

## Running a Project

Generating and running a project with the [desktop app](../getting-started/desktop-app), or [self-hosting](./deployment) the exported code, requires:

| Tool | Version |
|---|---|
| Node.js | 24 to 26 |
| pnpm | 12 or newer |
| PostgreSQL | For apps that use a database (exported code only) |

[Desktop](./desktop#requirements) and [mobile](./mobile) apps have their own requirements (Rust, Android Studio, Xcode...), listed by the editor.

## Browser Compatibility

To ensure optimal performance, make sure you are using an up-to-date version of your browser.
