Adalo builds native mobile apps without code: its Ada AI and a visual canvas create screens, a database, and actions, published to the App Store and Google Play. Luna Park builds full-stack web apps visually, compiled to Vue and Node.js code, and exports them as mobile and desktop apps too.

At a glance
Both build web and mobile apps without code. The main differences: main platform, logic, and code export.
| Luna Park | Adalo | |
|---|---|---|
| Main target | Web, then desktop and mobile | Mobile, then web |
| Logic | Visual scripting graphs, compiled to JavaScript | Actions on components |
| Database | PostgreSQL: joins, aggregates, transactions | Built-in collections (source) |
| Code export | Vue + Node.js source (Pro) | Limited By plan (source) |
| Hosting | Anywhere Managed hosting in late 2026 | Adalo only |
| App stores | Native shell Web frontend | Native publishing Built in |
| Pricing | Free, or Pro at €25/month or €300 once | Free, then flat plans by published apps (source) |
| Platforms | Web PWA Desktop Android iOS | Android iOS Web |
Example: a waitlist form
Visitors enter their name, email, and favorite ride, and get a ticket number.
Luna Park
- Place the fields and a button, each field bound to a variable.
- On click, a graph sends the variables to a backend route and shows the ticket.
- The route inserts a row in the
Waitlisttable and returns its id.
Adalo
- Create a
Waitlistcollection with its properties. - Add a form linked to the collection.
- On submit, link to a confirmation screen.
- Show the entry's ticket number in a text component.

Code export
Adalo apps run on Adalo, and its code access depends on the plan. Luna Park compiles every project to plain Vue and Node.js, which you download with Pro.

Other differences
- Logic. Adalo actions cover create, update, and navigation. Luna Park graphs have loops, functions, typed data, and any npm package as nodes.
- Backend. Luna Park routes and crons run your server logic in the same project.
- Mobile. Adalo publishes native apps to the stores directly. Luna Park's mobile apps run the web frontend in a native shell.
Which one to choose?
Luna Park
- Your product is a web app first.
- Your logic will get complex.
- You want to keep the code.
Adalo
- You want a native app in the stores, fast.
- Your app is simple screens on a hosted database.
- You prefer flat pricing by published app.
Before switching
- Native builds need the desktop app and a Pro or Edu license.
- Until managed hosting launches in late 2026, you host the backend.
Based on Adalo as of October 2026. See adalo.com for current features and prices.
