v0 alternative you can read and edit: Luna Park vs v0

Pricing
  • Readable logic
Every change the AI makes is a visual graph.
  • Backend included
Routes, crons, and PostgreSQL, built visually.
  • Your AI
Any provider, a local model, or your own agent.

v0, by Vercel, generates apps from a conversation: the AI writes Next.js and React code, and you deploy it on Vercel. Luna Park also builds with AI, but the result is visual logic you can read and edit without code, compiled to a Vue and Node.js application.

At a glance

Both build apps with AI. The main differences: what the AI produces, backend, and AI choice.

Example: a waitlist form

Visitors enter their name, email, and favorite ride, and get a ticket number.

Luna Park

  1. Ask Sidekick for the form, or build it yourself.
  2. The result is a graph: read the fields, call the route, show the ticket.
  3. The route inserts a row in the Waitlist table, in the project's PostgreSQL database.

v0

  1. Prompt: "add a waitlist form that saves to the database".
  2. Add Neon or Supabase from the Vercel Marketplace.
  3. v0 writes the SQL for the table and a server action that returns the id.

Code export

Both give you the code. Luna Park compiles the visual project to Vue and Node.js, so you can keep working visually or take the code.

The waitlist, compiled to Vue and TypeScript.

Other differences

  • Understanding the app. With v0, fixing a bug means reading Next.js code or prompting again. In Luna Park, components, graphs, and routes are visual, and the app map shows how they connect.
  • Backend. v0 connects third-party databases. Luna Park routes, crons, and PostgreSQL are part of the project.
  • AI costs. v0 bills AI usage in credits. Luna Park uses your own key, a local model, or your coding agent through MCP. Editing without AI is free.

  • You want the backend in the same project.
  • You want to choose your AI.

v0

  • You want a Next.js and React code base.
  • You already deploy on Vercel.
  • You want a GitHub pull request workflow.
